Wyze Thermostat Out of Sync with App

Just installed 2 new thermostats and the installation went well.

Now the Wyze App reports that the system is cooling but the thermostat itself is off, and the AC damper control computer confirms that there is no call for cooling.

Any help is appreciated.

This appears to be by design. My app will say “heating in <1 minute” I think it waits 2 degrees to drop/raise from setpoint and then kicks on. It’s worded very weird in app. That’s my best guess
