I’ve been checking for app updates and testing the setup process every day. Still no connection for my Pixel 7. Same as someone reported for a pixel 6a. I don’t really have an alternative device to test!
They updated the app a few days ago and says it fixed it. My app was already updated but you might want to check yours to see if you have the latest.
Thanks, yes I’ve been checking and keeping the app up to date. It does seem that it fixed the issue for some Androids but Pixel 7 and 6a seem to still hang at the connecting phase. Just tried again. I’m confident they’ll fix it, but I’m just impatient!
Good news! I am now able to connect and set up my Wyze switch with my Pixel 7 phone, so this app error seems to be resolved. Thanks Wyze!
Jan 2025… Using my Pixel 7, I am experiencing the Bind Switch Error and nothing that has been mentioned in these posts is working.
I installed a few switches a few months ago. Last week 1 was shown offline and then a second 1 went offline. Can’t get them reconnected with Bind Switch Error. The other 2 I have that are still connected show the latest firmware and I didn’t have a single issue with connecting them the first time. Tried using a Pixel 9 and a iPhone 16 and an old iPad mini. No luck.
