Wondering if the stat can be set to have a code so that the stat can’t be used at the unit unless a code is entered first. I have several rentals and I like to control the temperatures remotely. Is this a current feature?

I have bata tested the thermostat and this was not a feature, but people requested it. You could use a protective cage instead, but it might not look that good depending on placement.

Yeah, this isn’t an option as it requires me to go to the location to make minor changes. I’ll wait until the feature is included in an update. Most wifi stats have this feature, a simple code via the stat on the wall or on the web app to make changes. Hopefully, easy update, and then the stat can be used and locked / unlocked remotely.
