Wyze scale X not reading properly!

Hello,

I just bought a wyze scale x and everytime i go on it, not only the weight fluxtuates by 5-7 pounds( i am 5’1 and weigh it reads between 114 and 120, which is a BIG difference for someone my size), but the body composition changes as well! Does anyone know how it reads body composition and how it gets multiple readings of body fat, water, bone etc…is the scale just completely broken?

I have tried it on multiple surfaces and i will get the same reading within a 5-10 minute period wherever i try it, then ill wait a couple of hours and next time i go on it…boom…all the readings are completely different! I understand of the weight section is miscalculating, but i am surprised all the other readings change as well.

Anyone experience this? It seems like it just doesnt work at all and I cannot trust the numbers. Its a shame since it just arrived!!

That does sound a bit odd.

When using the scale on a solid surface, have you tried zeroing out the scale first?

Essentially, it is activating the scale by putting presure on the scale, letting off, waiting for it to show 0, then stepping on the scale.

See if you get the same resding by trying that before checking your weight.

Also, check to make sure the pads are clean and free of debris.
