The band and/or scale will require an app update to function properly.
Yea! Someone else who will admit that they hate the Apple ecosystem!
I carry an iPhone only because it was work issued and I have to carry it and did not have a choice, but my personal phone is a Motorola Android. Only advantage to that is that I have the Wyze app on both phones so I can compare how they work, or watch more of my 19 cameras at the same time…

I guess if people can say they hate the apple ecosystem then I’ll come on and say that I hate the android ecosystem. It’s just being consistent.

Super excited for this scale to arrive! ![]()
Where did you get this information? I couldn’t see it anywhere when I placed my order, neither it is in any of the announcements.
The live AMA on Facebook.
Live AMA ,Scale , Band and many other videos from wyze on the Wyze YouTube Channel
I, like many others, changed my mind and ordered the scale to go with my band. At that price point, it is an easy impulse buy!
I ordered one and the watch, even though I have a Fitbit.
That’s exactly what they were looking for impulse buys. On an inexpensive product that I guarantee you is not complete when you get it. You’ll be going through a lot of troubleshooting a lot of app updates it will be a lot you’ll have to do before that scale is operating completely if it does
You guys really need to sort out international shipping.
Seriously you can get a device made in China and ship it to the states but you haven’t figured out USPS can deliver outside the country?
When is it going on Amazon so I can get one?
I hope not, I have one on the way, I am hoping they got everything working properly in the beta testing.
Not to be overly rude here but when have they released the product to the public that was fully ready to go? Let alone EA. The lock certainly wasn’t even after all the issues with the people that bought it in early access. People are still having issues with it in production.
So you’re thinking that all of the issues that get worked out in Alpha testing not beta testing because that’s not what it is. Are worked out? I highly doubt it. Early access is beta testing that we pay to do. I get it. I bout a band. But I know it’s not gonna be perfect. I know there’s gonna be a lot of work to be done because it’s essentially going to be in beta testing. But I wanted one and I liked the price so I bought it. But to expect it to be ready to go out of the box I find that highly unlikely
I have been trying to figure out what the need is for a scale to be on the same moble application has cameras, lightbulbs, plugs, locks, sensor and everything else.
I would hate to have application software updates for the scale torpedo any of the other non-health related items.
Doesn’t it make sense to create an mobile application just for health related products?
I’m with you. The scale needs it own app. Keep it out of my iOT.
The band at least controls devices and has Alexa. That’s why I bought it. I’m sure I’ll go through many issues before it functions like it should. Yes it’s only $25 and a Apple Watch is $200. But the Apple Watch works right out of the box. No Wyze product has done that yet. Hence the price. During the AMA that one guy asked why are all of Wyze’s competition more expensive. Because they actually have full beta testing which costs money and release a finished product not one the consumer has to beta test AFTER they paid full price for that privilege. Big difference. He knows better but was trying to impress the Wyze junkies. I buy Wyze products but I know what I getting tor the price. I go in with my eyes open.
@paindonthurt I agree with your opinion
The reason I buy Wyze product apart from the cheap price is the features and quality keeps improving, and very quickly
I want one! Please ship to Canada!
My only caveat to that is I don’t think they improve quickly. They improve just not quickly. But I do have to give it to Wyze they do to try to improve the product but you know you’re not going to get a working product out of the box. But we know that’s what we’re paying for right so that’s on us that’s a decision we made
