I am trying to factory reset. The unit is about 2 years old but hardly ever used. Changed router so went to reset and it will never tell my it is on or to scan qr code. I have gone through the instructions on the website so many times my thumb and finger tips hurt. I tried the manual firmware upgrade and that also is a no go. This thing only get used about 20 hours a year.

I’ve also had some recent confusion when trying to reset a Cam Pan v3 according to the instructions, because the camera wasn’t giving the feedback or indication that I expected, but when I initiated the setup process to add the camera as new, I was able to complete that. What happens if you try to add the camera in the app anyway?
If that doesn’t resolve it for you, then please let me know. I can try another factory reset on my problem child Cam Pan v3 to see if I can get you a better description of what has worked for me.
Also, are you certain that you’re using the original power supply? The adapter for Cam Pan v3 has 5V ⎓ 2A output in contrast to the 5V ⎓ 1A adapters supplied with most other Wyze Cams. I’m just trying to think of other potential problems to eliminate to see if we can maximize your chances of success with this.
What happened when you attempted to flash the firmware? I’ve had firmware flashing attempts fail on some Wyze Cams when I didn’t heed their advice to use a 32 GB (or smaller) microSD card formatted FAT32. I learned that a 256 GB card formatted exFAT was a definite no-go. ![]()
