I took the survey.

It’s similar to a previous survey we took months ago about new entry level floodlights, but this time targeting Pro level outdoor cameras instead of entry level floodlights.

Personally, I LOVE the Floodlight Pro models. They see EVERYTHING, and have free local object detections included and 2K. They’re my favorite camera.

The only things I would consider upgrading them for would be a camera that has:

  • higher resolution
  • a second lens that is telephoto/zoomed in and can pan/tilt to follow the AI objects up close
  • Bonus: RTSP or Home Assistant integration

It seems the first 2 may be things Wyze is considering which I would consider a HUGE upgrade!

Even if this new camera isn’t a floodlight, I would consider putting it in a couple of locations.
If the new one doesn’t have a wife FOV, but does pan tilt lens with telephoto zoomed in, then I would use it together with a Floodlight pro that sees everything while the other one sees more detail up close.

I have been looking for Floodlight Pro model for some friends & clients. The main problem has been the voltage limitation. They are in the 240V regions. Kindly make the voltage to be universal: 110v -240V.
