Thatās not entirely accurate. Bulb Cam is adjustable like other Cams (think of how something like Cam v4 can pivot on its mount), but it doesnāt have motorized pan or tilt like Cam Pan v4 or Solar Cam Pan do. Itās still a cool Cam, though. I really dig its wide field of view.

I would like to try the bulb cam. Iām wondering how the light produced by the bulb will attract the bugs, which is a common standard issue of outdoor cams. In the summer, I already use a bug zapper combo light bulb.

Greetings! I have been using one of the Wyze outdoor plugs to control some heat mats I have on my patio leading up to our hot tub. I have it setup using IFTTT to turn when it starts snowing and to turn off when the weather clears. Super convenient. I would love to have a camera, ideally with a floodlight, to monitor the spa area. Iād love to have you expand the automation capabilities of the smart plugs to include weather related triggers. Thanks!

I use my Wyze inventory to first and foremost be secure, but also to monitor pets and package delivery, especially since I have prescriptions delivered and have had issues where one was supposed to be delivered but I had none.

My first Wyze cam was a V2, in early 2020, and I upgraded to a couple of v3s right after they came out. . We were living next door to a large encampment of homeless junkies, and as this was during the pandemic, we were basically stuck there until it was over. They would often try to hang out on our front steps and porch to do their drugs, especially if the weather was bad (so their lighters would stay lit while cooking their drugs). The cams allowed me to monitor the stairs, and with the speaker I could verbally warn them. Had to use the sirens a couple of times to get my point across. We also kept an eye on our landlordās porch adjacent to our, as he wasnāt exactly tech savvy! Perhaps the best, tho, was when a couple of guys (not from encampment) took architectural details off the vacant, awaiting restoration, house next door - owners were living in Texas at the time (Iām in New Orleans). Seeing someone walk past the cameras carrying a ladder at 11pm at night made me suspicious. Saw them on the porch next door, removing the soffits (old architectural details have a high resale value here) and was able to surreptitiously redirect a camera so it was filming that porch; got the whole thing on film. Unfortunately calls to 911 did not get police there, but the home owner was able to go to a couple places that resell such items, found them at one, and with the video could prove they were his and got them back. And because the store collects ID when they purchase the items, the thieves went to jail.
Now we live in a better spot, with great neighbors and no junkie encampments, but we are on a bit of a main road so I like the security. Bought a few more v3s to give away, one to a friend with no income to spare who had a volatile ex, and one for an older friend on SS. Bought a cam pan (2nd version) just cause; itās come in handy twice when one of our cats - a little escape artist - got out. She hides under the house; I mount the camera underneath and then place a bowl of food under it and it lets me see when she comes to eat so I can sneak out and get her!
Camera also helped catch the car thief who made off with a delivery driverās car dropping off food to our neighbor - driver stupidly left it running and someone jumped in and drove off. Also helped identify the vehicle of another thief, this guy stole someoneās enclosed trailer with all this lawn cutting equipment in it (his livelihood). He came speeding down the side street that dead ends into our street with a sharp turn - his vehicle made the turn, but the trailer kept going straight and slammed into the back of our parked van (can we say yay for our 1998 Astro van that came out of the mishap with nothing but a small dent in the back bumper, while the trailer had its entire front corner sheared off!). Showed the video to the cops, who immediately recognized the thiefās vehicle as he was known for stealing trailers. Never heard more about it, but they appreciated having video proof and hopefully has or will help them nab him. BTW, the owner of the trailer got it back - he was actually running after the guy on foot; the first thing the video did was prove to him we werenāt the ones that stole it, lol!
If I win, any equipment will go to cover some blind spots we canāt cover due to lack of electricity or other concerns, especially as we now have a home business that requires a reasonable amount of not hugely expensive but also not terribly cheap equipment. And/or to share with others that maybe canāt afford their own security, but could really use it!
All in all, Iāve had very few problems with my Wyze equipment compared to all the use Iāve gotten from it!

Wyze cams have enabled me to keep an eye on our summer home on a mountainside in an area so rural that the cam on the porch doubles as a trail cam! I would use the Solar Cam Pan to improve our wildlife observationsā¦

Iām an avid Wyze user/promoter and have been for a few years now. I use them at my home, camper and garage. They provide security for my property and also catch some funny moments. If I win the prize pack, I would use it at my barn seeing as its the last location that doesnāt have live cameras.

I would use the pack to help secure my parents home. I have gotten them a few things, but this would be perfect for them to keep an eye on them and their property. As one is a fall risk it would be invaluable to have additional cameras to notify and keep watch if something happens.

Solar Cam Pan would be good for the roof of my rental building, where I canāt run power.
Bulb Cam Doorbell and Pan v4 for front entry door and street.

I would love to use the cameras to upgrade my security and the security of my grandmotherās home! Wyze has already helped me with my security and helping to monitor the health of my kitties (I hope itās not too late to enter! I didnāt see this until now)
