agreed. I think this could substantially increase device sales.
I have recently started looking at alternatives (cams, sensors) that have better Alexa integration as I have 70+ non-Wyze iOT devices as well that I would like to automate better.

Around the time when Wyze first launched their first Wyze Cam and Pan Cam. I went to a friend’s house and saw a small white cube-shaped camera looking out their window. Out of curiosity, I opened up Google and started looking for it. That’s when I came upon Wyze. All other security cameras out there were difficult to install or pretty expensive. So that’s when I started doing some shopping. I purchased a pan camera and used it to watch my dogs. I then figured that I needed more of these around my house. So I started buying more and more. Now I’ve become so familiarized with this brand that it’s the only security device that I purchased. Every time something new comes out, I just have to get my hands on it as fast as possible. Wyze has helped me stay safe around my house, even when I’m not there myself. Even in the fitness and health area. I know I can count on Wyze. Software and hardware are amazing and durable. Support is fast and easy. I haven’t had a single moment where I was disappointed with my purchase. Thank you wyze!
My first Wyze Cam (Pan v3) was activated in March 2023, but I’d been using the Plugs since 2019, and had also adopted Watch 47 (still wearing it) and Light Strip and Light Strip Pro before getting into the Cams. I appreciate the value and ease of setup, and I like being able to integrate the devices with Google Home, which was especially important with the Plugs and Light Strips. I also found information here in the Forum to be very helpful when I wanted to install Light Strips in my parents’ kitchen and allow them to control that with Google Home and without the need to install yet another device app.

I have had wyze for over 3 years now. I bought them originally because I had a new neighbor that started some crap shoving garbage under my jeep that was just 1 example. I went with wyze because of there story how they started wyze from what I learned they seem like great guys with great family values there not one of these big companies That dnt know there employees. I wish they had a better door bell system the one they have is not compatible.
My home surveillance setup gives me total view of all sides of my house plus inside and olus motion sensors hooked up to wyze plugs to turn on lights if movement is sensed.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the Wyze Forum giveaway and shared your setups and experiences.

Thank you, @WyzeJasonJ! You have made my week! ![]()
I can always use more cameras. I have some V2 Pans that can be upgraded. And my V1 Doorbell is ready for refreshing. It was the beta testing gift from Wyze and has worked perfectly from day 1.
You’re welcome, just DM’d you with the info.
I have replied. ![]()
Let me know if you need anything else.
‘Gratz’ I thought I had a pretty good chance with better than 1:40 odds, but still not good enough. ![]()
Fashionably late? Story of my life! But I got the email TODAY so I’m counting it. Look, Wyze basically deputized me as Sheriff of My Own Domain, and let me tell you, this town runs SMOOTH. Between protecting my family, my fur babies, and making sure the perimeter stays secure, I’ve got eyes everywhere thanks to my Wyze cameras. The world’s gone a little bonkers these days, but me? I sleep like a baby because I can literally SEE trouble coming from a mile away. Someone tries something funny? I’ve got receipts—in HD. I’m not just the sheriff around here, I’m judge AND jury, and my Wyze cams make sure justice is served. Fair and square, partner.
That’s how we like it in the South. Thanks Wyze for reasonable prices and dependable camera’s.
@WyzeJasonJ do you know if the chime that came with the V1 Wyze Doorbell work with this doorbell?
Unfortunately, the V1 doorbell chime is incompatible with every other Video Doorbell besides the one it came with. It doesn’t even have any ability for Automation Rules. ![]()
That is too bad. I have 2 of the chimes, I guess I’ll have to look into Wyze Universal Chime.
You should also be able to use your interior Cam v3s as accessory chimes for Battery Video Doorbell.
That’s good. I can’t find the Chime on the Wyze site.
