They should re-release the latest non beta release with a newer version number than this beta so users with their cams at the top of a two story house can fix them without having to go back to the beta program or doing the SD card flash procedure.
This morning, away from my house, the FL pros do connect on wifi (Xfinity at Planet Fitness).
But turning wifi off and going cellular they still don’t connect.
My home wifi is also Xfinity…

Unfortunately, the nature of this issue is going to be something entirely on Wyze’s backend. This Athentication issue appears to get stuck and if you observe closely it retries, going back to Step 1, then 2 again before timing out. And because it does work intermittently through external networks briefly, the block is not in the App or device FW. It’s with Wyze Authentication server or in between.
Basically, it should be a fix on their end without us having to perform any update on our end.
Yep and u think they would have done something by now. All they focused on is sell new products rather than fixing issues for the people that stay with them

I can confirm 4 of my 5 Floodlight Pros are connected through an external network again - but only for about a FEW MINUTES. As I predicted, no change needed in App SW or Device FW needed. Entire fix on their backend. Then reverts back to same problem stuck authenticating at step 2.
Obviously something they neglected on their end.
Anyway, the last Floodlight Pro connects on a repeated reconnect attempt (My first attempt is via Monitoring tab and as someone else alluded, go to Device view and it connected). This is a separate reconnection bug that has always been there. Seems to occur when there is active motion in progress at time of connection attempt.

Well, I can confirm that NONE of mine will connect still, with 3 bars of 5g cell service on my phone.
