For once Wyze can you listen to your customers and just fix the software?! Why is this so complicated? The floodlights should not turn on when live view is opened from the app and it’s ludicrous that you designed it that way. What were you thinking? Do you guys sit around thinking of ways to screw with your customers?
This is finally fixed in the beta firmware released earlier today! Camera firmware: 4.36.9.117. Floodlight firmware: 1.0.0.55. Just re-enabled the PIR sensor and looked at the live view and it didn’t turn on. Below are the release notes:
Wyze Cam Floodlight:
Reduced face overexposure when the floodlight is turned on
Modified the default lighting time to 30 seconds
Fixed a bug that caused false detection when viewing the live stream
It is not fixed for me. I have had the same Update and firmware for 2 days but the f**king floodlight still comes on when I open the app and view the cams 
Same problem as everyone else.
Flood light comes on whenever I open the app.
Turning off PIR sensor fixes the problem.
(Settings->Accessories->Floodlight->Floodlight Settings->Motion is detected by PIR sensor)
This should not happen.
Still have ~60 days to return to Home Depot…
I just bought this Cam V3 with Floodlight and i don’t see the icon. I only see the “moon off” icon.
