WYZE Duo Cam Pan not accessible at my.wyze.com

I just received my Duo Cam and installed it today, alongside the v4 that I have been using.

Out of curiosity, I decided to see what the Duo Cam presents on the web.

As much as the camera is online, it is not accessible on the web.

I assume the Wyze developers haven’t figured this out as yet, no?

What browser are you using? Note this recent discussion about Web View and Cam Pan v4:

2025-08-30T15:32:18Z Edit: That looks like a Brave logo in the address bar, and I would expect that to work like other Chromium-based browsers, but maybe there’s something about it that’s problematic? What happens if you try using Web View with Duo Cam Pan in an officially-supported browser?

Now, for some very strange reason, it works on both Chrome (I guess this is the officially supported one?), and Brave browsers. BTW, do I need to clean the lens on the Cam V4? I can’t believe the difference, yet the two are mounted next to each other - less than 1

’ apart.

Good deal. Maybe it was just a temporary network glitch or something? I see those occasionally on some cameras even when I use Chrome (it happened to me yesterday with Bulb Cam in Web View on Chrome).

According to the Help Center article I linked above, the officially supported browsers are Google Chrome, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Edge. I would expect something like Brave to work, though. I believe that I’ve used Web View on Opera (also Chromium-based) before with good results, but checking just now I’m seeing failures; attempting to stream a Cam Pan v4 in Web View in Opera results in this explicit message: “This camera requires Chrome to stream video. Please switch to Chrome for the best experience.” Maybe Brave is also afflicted. :man_shrugging:

There does appear to be some haze on the left side of that image, so gently wiping the lens with a soft cloth might help. The lighting/color differences make me wonder if there are significant differences in WDR processing between the cameras.
