Yes, multiple tickets, and logs have been submitted. Spent too much time trying to fix this and other camera issues (like SIM cards, too much picture exposure -whiteout) with wyze. Don’t get me wrong, love the products, but the tech support is very insufficient.
Have you ever restored the app from iCloud? Or have you been installing? It’s from the app store? Have you tried restarting your device between uninstall and install?
It looks like something is persistent because a constant variable here is you. And I don’t recall similar issues like this happening. Are you able to take a screen recording of this occurring and posted here?
Yea, I don’t get it either. I’ve reinstalled things multiple times and on different app versions. Cache, reboots, etc. But then again I think this forum is just a mess of topics and not easy to find things. So it’s individuals commenting separately and nothing getting tied together. With login requirements I’m sure nobody bothers, and just buys something that works. Moderators threw this under the rug in an old post. No wonder nobody else mentions it. I’ve gone out of my way to try to help wyze fix this and it doesn’t happen.
Speaking of working, videos wouldn’t upload to this forum. But I’m sure if you can imaging the attached screen shot freezing, and then just going to your home page. That’s what happens.

The question asked was, where did you install the Wyze app from? Apple App Store or Apple iCloud? Have you ever used an iCloud backup to restore apps and settings?
fI have the exact same issue, ever since I got my bulbs when they first came out. No help from Wyze. Yes, am current firmware and app etc etc…This did this with my old phone, an iphone 11, and now with my new iphone 16 pro. I have given up on Wyze. 5 outdoor cams all died with the 0% battery issue. Never got 2 thermostats to work. Door locks that stopped working. Motion sensors that stopped working after a year. It’s all junk!!!
