I’m still having trouble some times my cameras load up just fine and then it seems more times that they take forever to load up and show up off line all these updates and firmware seem to only work for a short period of time and then it’s back to load up issues hopefully this can be resolved I’m seriously considering a whole new line of camera system and stay away from Wyze
If you’ve been having troubles with the cameras since you’ve got them, maybe it’s time to take a look at your network. If the issues started after a certain update, come back with some more relevant issue so someone can help you out.

My spotlight on cam v4 feature worked perfectly fine for all motion before this update 4.52.8.0648 and now it won’t turn on at all.
Troubleshooting steps taken:
-Restart Services
-Restart Camera
-Power Cycle Camera
-Change settings for motion to all or specific detection based on AI
-Deleted Camera and added it back
-My other camera v4 is working normally, but required restart of service, and togging of spotlight settings
+Downgraded my firmware to [4.52.7.0367] from July, 11, 2024 and its working now!
I just google how to 'downgrade firmware on Wyze camera v4 for the steps required to do this.
The camera didn’t take the firmware roll back, and problem still existing with spotlight won’t come on during night time. I’m still on firmware 4.52.8.0648.
Make sure to get 32 GB micro sd card, format in FAT32, Rename the file from recovery_wcv4.bin, plug in the power, and press the setup button for 8 seconds. I flash my firmware back to July, and spotlight feature is now working.
