I would like to time laps a video of my home being built with the Wyze Cam V3. It’s limited to around 30 days now. Does anyone know a way to make it longer than 30 days? Like a 3rd party app, anything. ---

30 days is the current limit they have put on Timelapse recordings, but if you have a video editor like iMovie you can add two 30-day timelapse recordings together. ---

That’s unfortunate to hear. Does anyone know why they limit their products to 30 days? ---

Arbitrary, as far as I know. They may have a concern that you will use too much space on the SD card (they used to recommend only 32 GB cards and below), and then get angry when normal event recording doesn’t go as far back in time as you thought it did. But I have no evidence of that. The limit is simply 30 days ATM. Understood but when you have a 512 gig SD card you can go more than 6 months with 48 pictures a day no problem. I haven’t found any SD card up to 1 TB that won’t work with the camera as long as it is formatted correctly. ---
