This commentary is for the OG Stack cable, which in my opinion Wyze took a significant step backwards. First and foremost, why was the cable changed from flat to round? Wyze had the perfect model with the cable for the Cam v3/spotlight combo which I used for my Cam OG/Cam OG Telephoto setup. The cameras are mounted outside near a window and cable passed through to inside outlet. The current stack round cable is not conducive for this but a flat shorter “Y” cable is ideal.
i also used the cable for the v3 spotlight. works perfectly.
I still have an active v3/spotlight setup but had an extra spotlight kit in case I wanted a second setup which I never installed. Not needed with existing outside flood lights in use I’m also not experiencing other issues reported, particularly, the stack connector becoming loose and unstable.
