On my Samsung S10 phone, in both live view and playback mode, when I rotate my phone from PORTRAIT to LANDSCAPE, it shows a zoomed picture. I’ve tried “pinching” the screen to take it to “normal,” but it will only zoom closer, not to normal. I have 3 other devices that function normally. Obviously, this update only affects the Samsung S10 phone, it is an Android 12.
My OGs have a few glitches, I’m stuck on Android 14. 12 and 14 are both older at this point. I have a few glitches with other things too, it seems app developers focus mostly on the latest OS versions and older ones tend to have more bugs.
You can use apkmirror.com to load the previous version of the app in the meantime.
The other gesture to zoom in/out is to tap the screen … does this do anything?
I truly believe it is the app update, I can narrow it down to the exact date it started. Specifically affects my S10 phone. It’s minor, but worked perfectly until that update. I’ll check out the reverting back, see what Wyze says (not holding my breath).

The 3.22.xxx app is compiled for Android 16 which Google now requires developers to code for their ‘edge-to-edge’ screen UI model.
There have been several UI issues that Wyze have fixed when reported. Your OG’s may have been affected by the Landscape mode issues - clipped at top and bottom hidden by a bar … this is now fixed.
TL, thanks for the info. I do have a ticket # that was assigned to my reported problem. That was on 9/19, not sure if they even work on my specific problem, so I guess it just the wait and see game. Thanks.
For whatever it’s worth, I have three operating OG cameras - all Telephoto version. They are working fine for me on my Pixel 10 Pro XL with Android 17. I have App version 3.23.0 (B981).
Same issue on my one plus 10T and 4 OG cameras

My App version is now 3.22.1.979. I can narrow down the problem to basically Sept 15-16, The problem started with App version 3.22.0.973 released then. I did all the troublesooting steps, no help. The latest version has NOT corrected the problem.

I’m using an S20 Ultra (android 13) and I’m dealing with the same issue. All 5 of my OG cameras zoom in when you turn the phone to landscape mode. None of my V2, V3, V4 have an issue.
Sorry to hear, I just got an email from Wyze saying they haven’t heard from me in a few days. Well until the problem is fixed I have really nothing to report. I do know they will close the conversation if they hear nothing back from me, so I followed their instructions and the problem is still there and promptly reported it.

Update on my issue with OG and V3 automatic zoom when in landscape mode, I deleted the app and reinstalled it now they’re working fine using an Android phone
Unfortunately clearing cache, clearing data, and reinstalling the app hasn’t fixed the issue for me.
