I added a 1 inch white panel light to indicate when my furnace turns on. My camera is not detecting it. I have the camera just a few inches from it. Would a different color work better?
Thanks,
Tom

Try moving the camera further back if possible and turn up the Detection Sensitivity. My Wyze Cam v3 with Detection Sensativity set at 90 will record pixel changes caused by my neighbor’s TV.
I don’t have any Cam v3s, so I don’t know which options are specifically available on that one, but if these are present you might want to try this to help with your troubleshooting:
These in addition to what @StevenA suggested might give better results or indicate what other settings changes you might need to make.

I have a V3 that used to record whenever my neighbor turned their side porch light on or off, not it’s not detecting it anymore and the Detection Zone is open for that area, so it should be seeing it especially at night. Then again I have a Wyze Floodlight that will turn the floods on randomly at times and record nothing even though it’s set to record when the floods come on and/or camera or PIR sensor detect something.
