3 newly shipped cam 2 models do mot connect to 5 g network. In fact, the QR has never scanned
Wyze cams will only connect to 2.4.

Hello @edyclark and welcome to the community.
As @towelkingdom stated Wyze cams (and currently no Wyze products) connect to the 5ghz wireless network. They only communicate on the 2.4 ghz network.
