It appears I have all the news and promo notifications turned off in the app, but for some reason Wyze still continues to Spam me with me ads for sales and such sometimes more than once in a day? Is there more than one place these settings are?
That’s been mentioned elsewhere in the past few days, and @dave27 described turning it off by disabling the “General” Android notification channel for the Wyze app:
That’s something you’d do in the OS-level settings for the Wyze app. I think the easiest way to get to those is to long-press the Wyze app’s launcher icon (on the phone’s home screen or wherever you tap to initially open the app) and then tap App info in the pop-up menu. Then tap Notifications. You can enable or disable different Notification categories on that screen, and when I initially hit it just now I see that I need to tap Other and Show unused categories in order to display all of the available channels, but once I do that I’m able to enable, disable, or customize each channel.
