Wyze App geolocation automation improvement

The current functionality will only work with any person leaving or entering the home for schedules, but not for monitoring status.

Kindly have a look and consider an approach I do have on my Arlo Cameras (I have some from the time as Wyze did not have battery powered cameras, no pun intended here)

Their functionality:
Leave:
You can either tick ALL people left or tick the users you want to select under CERTAIN people left (all registered/shared users are being displayed and selectable).
You then can simply change the MODE (same modes as under MONITORING in Wyze App) to e.g. ARMED. In additions you can select any of the set schedules to be active or inactive if needed.
If e.g. all people leave (like on vacation) the status can be set to ARMED (all cameras armed, but all schedules for cameras (like daily timed on/off) should not be active and can be deselected.

Enter:
You can either tick ANY person enter or tick on the users you want to select under CERTAIN people enter.
As described above you can change the MODE to DISARMED or HOME, whatever you have set up for this event and you can as well activate the schedules you want to run (like daily on/off schedules)

By default only the activities and schedules under the MODE chosen when leaving/entering the location will be active, but as described you can change /add schedules by selecting/deselecting them.

This way location trigger works properly and not like in Wyze app which

  • does work only for any person leaving /entering

  • is not including to change the MODE (DISARM, HOME, AWAY)

  • does not allow to de-activate/activate selected set schedules when arriving or leaving

A similar approach of geolocation and modes would make location trigger useful for any scenario.

Also you can of course set mode in the schedules, like Home (certain cameras stay on, like perimeter and garage) or disarm (only certain perimeter cameras stay on), etc.

I think Wyze has all the elements in the app already, but the handling and coordination between geolocation, modes and schedules are having room for improvement
