Wyze app 3.2 Release Candidate Beta Test 10/10/2024

Murphy may be at play here. My initial testing with my suspect cam V3 is opposite of what I initially saw. It now seems to be the fastest cam I’ve got. Go figure.

Maybe the RC will cure both of our observations.

Like you I’m retired. This stuff keeps my brain active and hopefully keeps old age from taking over .

Been monitoring my cam V3. It’s only been running 3 hours

It just took down most of my network. I was checking my cam group (10 cams) and half of them were offline. OUCH. Everything was wonky so I unplugged the cam V3. Everything, except the doorbell v2, recovered in seconds. The doorbell v2 took a few minutes but it did recover.

I’m sorry old cam v3 but you are being retired. I’ll keep you around for a month or 2 just incase there is a problem with b576. At this point I think it’s doubtful. It took 3 hours for the cam V3 to act up. I’m guessing heat related.

Oh well. It served a good and honorable life👍.

I only started Wyze with the OG. Newbie.
All still opening well, today. Until they decide not to for whatever the reasons.

Cam Plus Lite Person filter doesn’t work on Android Wyze app v3.2.0.b576. When I press on it, it prompts me to subscribe as shown here. It is an Android app issue only as my other iOS device works fine.

This bug is also in v3.1.5.569 as noted by @peepeep.

Where has the Person detection filter gone to in events with Cam Plus Lite?

Short version: New production 3.1.5.569 didn’t fix it for me. Long version: Installed new 3.1.5.569 as an update over 3.0.0.519. Checked Person filter availability in Events: none available. Do the developers think the landscape view on Samsung tablets will be fixed? Only one view I’m aware of so far that seems wrong, favorites view. See pic.

I think the landscape view on any device for Wyze to accomplish is like searching for the Holy Grail

You can force some portrait only apps in some at least, Samsung tablets. Not always a treat to look at though.

It’s a process, but it’s so close. Just needs a couple tweaks. Here’s some other screenshots.

Right, but once you go into Monitoring, Sale and Account tabs, all Hell breaks loose, it turns into portrait mode. Then, when you go back to the tabs that were previously in landscape mode, they are now in portrait. Then you have to turn the tablet sideways and pray to Wyze Gods that it will rotate to landscape.
