Thanks… Helps on a view somewhat but should be hidden by default and tap to display.
Thanks @spamoni. Not sure it’s intuitive but it does work. Just have to remember it.
Yeah, not sure why they thought to have it intrude over the video as much as they do? Seems like you could split that, top to bottom on the screen, and that would solve it. Or left to right. Take your pick.
Of course my other half doesn’t even have a cell phone.
1 tap and if I slide up the page with my thumb for the next camera event it stays gone until I tap again. Unless my slide is too hard & becomes a tap. Lol
I’m not certain if it would help to be completely transparent like the landscape button.
Or perhaps show it for second or so, users would know it’s there and have it auto slide back and hide unless we tap, then default to only tap. Poll. Lol
If you tap the landscape button they’re also visible there until you tap.
I think we may be seeing a morphing of the UI. If you look at an older camera, in my case a cam 3, the UI only has things you can do under the image. The newer cameras have things you can do under the image and if you tap the image you get more information for a few seconds. It took me a while to get use to it but now I don’t even think about.
I’m guessing that they are running out of room horizontally and looking at new ways to display info.
My only concern is consistency of the UI. Case in point–this thread. I did not know that clicking the screen would make it disappear until @spamoni pointed it out.
Going to have to see how I feel in a week or two.
I also noticed it comes back out without tapping if you watch an event to the end.
I don’t know how or why, but I just noticed today that on this new app version my devices tab reset back to alphabetical order.
If this happens a lot, it’s not worth sorting that tab anymore. I have 300+ devices and it takes too much effort to keep sorting it.
That happened to me once before, but not on this beta version. I would check on another device before you start reordering again
No one else have the new firmware on the v3pro and tried webview?

Sorry for the trouble. We have identified the root cause for V3 pro beta firmware WebView streaming issue. We are working on deploying a fix for it.
We would love more opinions on two minor questions in beta 3.2 here as well; Questions for those testing Wyze app 3.2
Thanks!
After I updated my CamV3 pro with 4.58.13.1321 , I 'm unable to connect to Wyze Web Live. Message is ‘‘Web Connection Failed’’. It works with all my V3.
@bonenfant.patrice
We are working on a fix for this currently, I am sorry it is affecting you.
See earlier in this thread. @jeff_sloan asked if there was an issue with v3pro. I confirmed it. @WyzeBaohua from Wyze said
It is today, but at the time it was in Michigan. You must be close to the border.
This morning on Android running beta574:
- Events do not show under Event screen or under each camera.
- Monitoring screen is blank.
Same issue this morning Oct 11 - log out and log in again fixed.
Works on other Android and iPad running regular app.
Perhaps unrelated, but it appears that the device in your 1st screenshot is using a cellular connection and the device in the 3rd screenshot is using local WiFi. Your filter selections are also different.
Thanks, but all was working fine yesterday.
Filter selections are the same - 4 cameras selected.
I have tried WiFi, Force Stop and Clear Cache.
