Wyze App 3.0 Device list

Is there anyway to get the thumbnail view of the cameras. I have over 30 cameras and it used to be east to scroll to the Device I needed when there was a small picture of the camera view. Now it’s just a list and it’s stupid annoying to actually have to read the names of all the cameras to find the one I need

Currently the Device Tab does not show the image anymore. However, I would check the the Wishlist Thread to see if there is a request for this. If there is, add your vote, otherwise, create one.

Until then, you could tap on the star to the right of the camera and have it appear on the Favorites Page. Battery Cams will not auto stream unless you have toggled the Power Saver Mode off, but the non Battery Cameras will stream.

I have added a couple of my main cameras to the Favorites and also created a camera group called perimeter. This group houses all of my cameras around the house. When I tap on that, the group opens and the cameras will stream. I can scroll to see what is going on.

The New app has been optimized some for camera loading as well as the updated firmware for the cameras. So it should load fast enough, mine does.

Trying to provide options

I agree this is sorely needed.

I can’t seem to find the battery saver option. I would like to have a few of my outdoor battery cams livestream on the Favorite list. Where should I be looking ?

Thanks.

If Battery Saver Mode is available, you will find it here:

Live Stream the Battery Camera, go to Settings, then Advanced Settings. Look midway down the page and you should see Battery Saver Mode.

If it is not there, then the camera may not have that mode.

Can you provide the Camera Model and Firmware you are using?

Hmmm the setting is definitely not there.

They are wyze camera outdoor v2 that have the base stations. Firmware is up to date - 4.17.4.427

I am using the Battery Cam Pro and the Doorbell Pro, both have the option. Let me check on the WCO series.

I wish, but WCO v1 and v2 do not have a Battery Saver mode. It’s in Battery Saving mode by default. But like on the 2.50.x home page, just tap the play icon under 3.0 and the cam will stream in place on the Favorites tab.

Disappointing that those cameras don’t have the quick view option, as it’s nice for a quick look at the favorites screen to see all cameras. But good to know the answer.

Thanks both for the quick responses !

That is what I thought as well. But have removed my WCO’s.

Thanks for the clarification @Seapup
