I went to look at an event the other day or maybe I hit live view and saw some commercial banner at the top in the way of what I was being alerted to. I don’t mind them doing the ad where they have in the shop icon or even in the menu or filter section, but why on earth would they want to cover up my video to see an add on an alert or on the live feed? That is missing the whole point of checking your feed!
…I realize the answer is marketing, but I don’t get a big apple add blaring in my face when I open my phone. Just seems taking advantage of the situation. I pay a subscription already.. I will shop and look around if I see the store icon has a different icon like there is an update there..
I dunno.. makes me wonder if they forgot why we use security cameras and decided to be the video superhighway. but put billboards in the middle of the road.
