Anyone having issues with pretty much anything coming up my sidewalk is a vehicle. The only thing that’s correct is my vehicle. **
But my car my dad me etc. is a vehicle on my v4. It’s up too date and this crap just started maybe 2 weeks ago. Thanks y’all strong text**
You have to play with detection zone and sensitivity until you hit that sweet spot.
The first thing that popped into my head when reading this topic title was My Mother the Car.
There’s some discussion in another topic—starting here and proceeding for several posts—about a lot of recent inaccurate events/notifications with Smart Detections, especially with doorbell cameras. I don’t know if that’s related to your issue or not (most of those seem to be discussing errors in sound recognition), but I’m tossing that out there as a possibility since you say the problem seemed to start within that same time frame.
I also agree with the settings review/tweaks that have been suggested. You might have to try to dial that in or wait until Wyze’s AI model is updated again.
If you post an example, we might have some ideas as to what’s going on.
For example, it may be that it’s not detecting your cat or your dad as a vehicle, but instead they are the ones who triggered the motion event and the camera sees a vehicle somewhere else in the distance, may be parked in the driveway or your neighbor’s driveway or on the road. Something like that is what’s most likely. There are some potential other things, but it’s hard to tell you what’s happening in your case without seeing an example.
Wyze has said that they are working on a new prototype to address stationary vehicle issue. But it hasn’t fully been launched yet.
