That’s probably a good word for his creations. The Oklahoma City Museum of Art has an impressive collection, including a huge chandelier and a tower. I can only imagine that packing and moving these things must be a nightmare, but watching video of him at work is fascinating.

A local pizza joint (Picasso’s) has what they call “Slices of Art” on their menu, one of which is called Kitchen Sink. I’ve had it. 
They also have one called Heart Attack.

I planted some lettuce in October with some old seeds I found in a junk drawer. I have two raised bed planter boxes in the front yard. We are still harvesting the lettuce every week.

I once shoveled some “dirt” from the backyard compost heap because I needed to fill in a hole in the front yard and then unintentionally ended up with a crop of delicious butternut squash that I was able to harvest for a few months.

When I used to dig up and till the garden area I had the same thing happen. I would throw all the tomatoes that had blossom end rot or bug holes in them on the ground. My wife likes Kabocha Squash and when she would clean out the gizzards/seeds I would throw them in the garden area. The next growing season I had 25 Tomato plants and 15 Kabocha plants. Since the soil here is Adobe clay you have a two or three day period when it is not to wet or dry to till.
I gave up and got planter boxes. Still grow all kinds of veggies almost year round.

We had a couple of rectangular planters on a stoop and planted some cute little flowers (seeds) in brand new rich and luxy soil. May even have amended it. Flowers growed then faltered and died. 
A month or so later and the cute little flowers took root and flourished in a nearby sidewalk crack. Moral?
