Is there a way to force the wyze to roam to the closest wifi hotspot? I have 3 access points on my wifi network , and the wyze only connects to the one that I set it up on which is about 50 feet from the camera’s location, even though it’s only about 5 feet from a much stronger signal. I’m assuming it’s connecting to the BSSID of the wifi AP that I set it on, instead of the actual SSID of the network, so it doesn’t even see the much stronger signal with a a different BSSID, but the same SSID.
I just asked this same question. I hope this topic get looked at. We have several setups and in each they seem to have a cached access point they will only connect to. Very frustrating when camera is moved.
Just a suggestion here, but try disconnecting the weaker node and power cycle the camera.
