I had to finally move my critter cam off of the ground to keep it from floating away in the rain yesterday.

Huh, I didn’t know Racoons “waddle”…but that guy sure knows how to scavenge!
Had a little trouble squeezing under the gate. I’ll tell MFP to reduce it’s portions. 
I put the cam back to ground level today, no more rain until next weekend.
I like it on the ground 
I almost think that maybe you could get a low sitting pole/tripod or something that keeps it slightly above ground, but still close to animal level. Then it won’t be at risk of submersion, while still giving you great shots and closeups.
MFP likes it at ground level tool, I have it mounted on a piece of 4X4 with the base screw. You can even see the bugs on the ground wandering around by the concrete step. Has anyone made a cap/cover to fit the V4 yet to keep the rain off the top of the cam and lens?
