The view inside my bluebird house is limited. I would like a wide angle lens that doesn’t distort the image too much.
I took a stab and bought a lens from an Amazon seller. The lens threads into the mount just like the original, but in order to get the image in focus, the lens has to be screwed out to the last thread.

I have this lens coming tomorrow. Again, I am guessing.

Focal length? Notice the second seller has a wide variety of lenses. The camera is mounted about 4” to 5” above the nest. I would like the image sharp from the nest up to the lens.
So I have 4 different lenses from Amazon (yay for returns) that do not produce a clear image. Apparently I need a lens with a focal length of 3.6 mm. f stop 1.6 and and a field of view around 170 degrees. Wonder how many lenses Amazon wlll let me try?
Lens #6 did the trick. Found out it HAS to have a focal length of exactly 3.6 mm. The thread is a standard 12mm
The f stop of 2.5 lets in a little more light than the f 1.6

The focusing ring from the Etsy seller fits just like the original Wyze lens. I am able to get a clear image 1” away. Since this is a wide angle lens the image has some distortion.
I ordered another lens for the other bluebird house,
Once the current brood has fledged and the house has been swapped, I will add more images.
