Why doesn’t test mode generate critical alerts?

  1. How else can you verify critical alerts?
  2. We have false alarms. I much prefer to be confident I’ll be notified in test mode. In fact, I would prefer to pay less and opt out of the monitoring service.

Not really. Mostly just other users.

I haven’t used the security system for a couple of years, but, since it is test mode, many features are disabled. I suspect critical alerts may be one of them. My thinking is it can’t be critical if you’re just testing, but I may be totally wrong.
