# What if I can't create a virtual wall?

Today, I used my Wyze Robot Vacuum, but I couldn’t create a virtual wall. Does anyone have the same problem? How to solve it?

**Make sure your app and robot vacuum’s firmware are both up to date**.

1. In the Wyze app, tap on your Wyze Robot Vacuum.
2. On the bottom right of your map, tap the square edit icon ![WRV_Virtual_walls.png](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/wyze/original/3X/a/5/a5a829ab46e1593379da36c24d78d9704e39e631.png).
3. Tap **+ Add a virtual wall**.
4. Tap and drag the red square to move it, and pinch to resize it.
5. Tap OK to save your virtual wall.
