What can we expect to be able to do with WebRTC?

Since Wyze implemented WebRTC on the V2, I was hoping to see a little more information on what it will allow us to do but since I haven’t seen much about it on the forum, I thought I’d ask…… Obviously, I’m not very well versed on WebRTC and what it can and can’t do, but I think there are some out there that are. It comes down to; Can the camera’s WebRTC stream be accessed by a properly formatted ip address in the browser? If so, it seems that we could get rid of that step of having to have an extra device like a Pi running TinyCAM to view the stream in Smartthings or Hubitat.

@bambam, you are not the only one waiting. I’ve tried a few ways without any success. What I’m really anxious for is either RTSP or WebRTC for the V3. Most of my V2 cameras have RTSP firmware so I can watch those on a computer or stream them to my BlueIris server. However can’t do that with the V3s yet…
