Anyone seen a glitch like this before? Is this a glitch? Why is nothing else in the video affected? Sharing link to video because it won’t let new users upload videos. https://photos.app.goo.gl/75Yj9tiLHcfMPzBA9
I think there’s a strand or wisp of spider silk outside your window, hanging down into your Window Cam’s field of view, catching the breeze, and then reflecting and/or refracting the bright light in the distance between the Cam and the tree when it moves.
That seems to be really odd movement for a wisp of web caught in the breeze. I dunno.
That’s what makes the most sense to me based on what I see in the video. I’ll be interested to read what others think.

FWIW, I also see that you’ve achieved TL1, which means that you can now upload videos (you were at TL0 before); however, there’s a limit of 5.86 MB for attachments, so the video you shared via Google Photos earlier would’ve required significant modification to upload here: It’s 148 MB when I download it. It’s fine to share links like that for larger videos. Some other community members use things like Dropbox or YouTube for this purpose.
Also, if you find that you’re not seeing adequate responses to your topic and want it moved to Captured on Wyze, you can reply here or flag your own initial post to let the Moderators know.
Yes it will be interesting. I’m at a loss. It’s still happening now.
Thank you for the info. Will you move it to Captured on Wyze please?
Did you check outside your window?
You’re welcome.

Thank you
My first thought when I watched the video (before reading any other replies) was a spider web. Trust me on this one, you are new here - those of us who have been around for years have seen similar MANY times.
100% guaranteed a spider web strand. Absolutely zero doubt. I’ve seen this exact thing a billion times.
That’s, like, a lot, right? ![]()
Too much!
Thankfully it happens a lot less since I removed certain spider pit bushes and such near my cameras and lights. But it still happens sometimes. I regularly run a leaf blower around the cameras, or a house, and spray bug repellent sometimes now. It helps.
And that’s just from personal experience. When we add in all the videos of other people thinking it’s an alien sighting, or ghosts or moving orbs, etc and almost all of the time it’s a spider web… Well, my certainty level is pretty high ![]()
It’s the default assumption, then I view the videos and it removes all doubt
The OP’s video maybe spider webs, but my Wyze v3 cameras do capture some interesting streaks of light.
It’s certainly the first sensible explanation that occurred to me when I saw the video.
Yeah, we do get some chill meteorite videos on here sometimes too. ![]()
