Wall switch discontinued?

I got my order a couple days ago, id keep checking daily since their notifications dont seam to go out

When did you order them, see them available on the site? I’ve been checking daily. The first time a few weeks ago they said they had some and I ordered. They cancelled the order. Guess they ran out of stock. Still watching daily.

They told me they were available today, I responded to purchase 2 hours later and they were gone. Let me know it you ever got them

Geez. Frustrating. I watch the site daily, yet I still missed it. This is ridiculous. Sold out again. If they’d at least give us an ETA, but they always give some excuse.

How did you get notified - I didn’t, and I have signed up for email alerts by shopping via the app.

Would be GREAT if they let you place an order for backordered items, first ordered, first served. Wyze??

I’ve tried repeatedly signing up for text notifications. Wyze site states, confirm Y to the text. But I never get the opt-in text. I used my friends phone and he gets the texts. Any suggestions? I’ve checked the numbers that come into his phone and made sure they weren’t block on mine. They aren’t. They seem to come from either 206-339-96646, or 946-09. I don’t have either blocked.

I don’t have a suggestion, but this is frustrating to read. Are you and your friend using different mobile carriers? That’s my first thought, that maybe something on your service provider’s end is filtering these messages if they’re not being blocked at your device.

The Wyze automated chat may have helped me solve the issue. I found this link Subscribe to Wyze SMS Alerts | Wyze and when that didn’t help, the chat suggested going to the Wyze app and turning on text notifications there, which I must’ve turned off a long time ago. I think that helped. I started getting texts. However, if I clear my browser’s Wyze cookie and then go to the Wyze Switch page and click on the Notify when back in stock option, I still don’t get a confirmation text, ā€œReply Y to confirmā€ message, but, that may be because I’m already opted in via all the previous confirmations I did when I went to the SMS link above and turned on the app notification option. I wonder if anyone else knows if you’re already getting texts from Wyze and you click on the notify when available for the Wyze Switch, do you get yet another request message prompting you to type Y to confirm? Well, I just noticed that when I try to enable text notifications for my number, like my friend did, and we’re both on the same cell provider, with the app, under Account > Notifications > Text Notifications, I get an error message, ā€œFailed to add this number to our subscribe list, try again or skip this step.ā€ If I try entering my friends number, the app shows a different message, ā€œThis number is already subscribed. Please try a different one or skip this step.ā€

I got notified by text message my carrier is TMobile. Yes very very frustrating. I don’t understand why we just can’t preorder. Other companies do it….
