This may or may not be a niche, but I’d like to be able to turn off auto gain control for audio recording on v4.
The basic motivation is that I’m trying to record noise-related issues, and when there is a large burst of high volume noise, auto gain control jumps in, and effectively mutes itself for a while - which defeats the purpose of recording. Yes I get it that there will be white noise on all recordings, but that’s the choice I believe should be up to the user.
