Vehicle mounted storm chase camera

Hi I’m a stormchaser in Oklahoma, I’d be interested as a beta tester for a camera idea I have. This camera would need to be a magnet mount for vehicle use, it would need to be 1080p up to 2K quality as well as have IBIS or in body image stabilization, tracking, siren or voice capability isn’t a must. It would need to be IP65 rated, usb wired with Bluetooth and WiFi capabilities. It would need to be 360 PTZ also and rather than like the Duo PTZ which you currently have in production it would need a protective dome to encapsulate the camera to protect it from not only the elements but high wind when traveling.

The storm chase community could benefit from this greatly any assistance will be appreciated. Sales from this if the price point is similar to the Duo camera to the storm chase communities but there is a caveat this also could serve as a vehicle security camera . I have included a photo of my current setup

I’m curious about the captures you get from your current setup.

That’s pretty dope, even without image stabilization. Thanks for sharing! :+1:

One of the local meteorologists sometimes streams from the field, I think on LiveStormChasing.com, so that’s cool to be able to see.

I voted for this, BTW. Don’t forget to click or tap the Vote button above your initial post!

Thank you for replying, it’s not so much the outdoor adapter. It’s more the camera design itself, although the Duo performance is really good, a camera with the specs I listed would be phenomenal! But I certainly appreciate your input

It’s not the storms they’re chasing around here; it’s the traffic violators who won’t stop for the police. :rolling_on_the_floor_laughing:
