This V4 was Installed on April 4, 2024. It went down sometime over the summer. I mentioned it being down in a post weeks ago. When I got to it this week, one flood was on, and the camera was clicking. I have restarted it, deleted it, and re-enrolled the camera. The camera functions normally except for the light staying on regardless of what I do. The second flood light goes on and off as it should. The camera has the latest firmware update. I have set the schedule to 1 minute at 3 am. I have tried to shut it off from live. I read the posts about the firmware update for the camera. Any ideas?
When you did the delete and re-enroll did you factory reset the camera (usually hold the setup button for a while)? That’s the only other thing I can think to try, but it sounds like something might be shorted or physically wrong with the camera. If the factory reset didn’t fix it, I would get a warranty replacement. Some water may have worked its way in or something.
I pressed it, but did not hold it in for any length of time. I will try to hold it in longer in the morning. It is mounted under an eave, but that doesn’t; mean it didn’t get water in. The simms plug was secure when I took it down.
I have purchased over 20 cameras and have never had a need to look into a warranty replacement. I will look into the warranty.
They have a 1 year warranty, I had to use it once and it was pretty painless.
