I don’t know. My experience with these class action suits in the US is that the end consumers get less than a dollar after the settlements are computed.

V4 record events on SD card not saving creates empty file and delete it. Started with last firmware update
After The v4 firmware update. Getting error when recording activity saved on the SD card. Shows recording taking place. Stopping the recording shows an error Recording failed with error: “recorded empty file. Deleted”
No file saved in the album.
So weird this just happened to you because mines been since June. They aren’t doing anything about it either

I had the same problem with my new V4. I use a Samsung phone. I was able to resolve this when I formatted my micro SD card through Wyze app.
I wish it was that easy. Tried that and it didn’t resolve the problem.
It’s been three months since I posted this and Wyze can’t even say, “we’re aware of this and working on a fix.” Very disappointing. This is a pretty severe loss of functionality.
Why don’t you return it at Home Depot? They have good return policy.

I just found that out. They told me I have a year to return it if purchased on my home Depot card so that’s good news. Won’t be buying wyze products anymore.
