Your hood for the V3 camera case is very similar to my Bonnet and Helmet for the V3 itself, even the shapes are similar. Check out my post Bonnet for the V3 Camera - Advanced
Within this post are links to two STL 3D print files:
V3 Bonnet 2.stl
and
V3 Helmet.stl
Both of these items would be attached with the thin double-sided roll tape. The also have a back flange which limits forward positioning.
