Hi, I have two Wyze Cam Outdoor V2s that I share with two other people. The cameras and basestation firmware are up to date. Recently (let’s say February), one of the two people I share the cameras with has been unable to view streaming video and instead saw a still frame, upon waiting for the video to start, he consistently got “network unstable, switch video to 360P.”
Solution: update Wyze app.
I didn’t have any of these problems on my side. The second person I share to didn’t have any trouble. So this indicated a platform issue. The gentleman had a modern iPhone but then noticed the app was out of date. Upon updating the Wyze app, he was able to stream video.
