My cameras will only allow me to view recording activations for 48 hours even with sd card setting on continuous recording,
Are you talking about the list of events? If you swipe up and hold for a few seconds, it will load more events, and you can also use the calendar to select specific days.
Also, let us know the size of your SD card. I have 32GB SD cards in my v3 cameras and get about 3 days of Continuous Recordings before the oldest files get overwritten.
The best way to view events is to click the Events icon at the bottom of the App screen to go to the All Events view.
- The event images are stored in the cloud and 14 days are displayed here (Not sure if having a subscription gives more days).
- i.e. today July 3 - 16 is shown; tomorrow July 4 - 17 is shown, …
- You can scroll left/right on the days to select a specific day.
- You can control the cameras and types of events to display using the filter icon at the top.
I think you are looking at the Camera Screen which only displays the last 2 days of event images.
- If you scroll to the bottom, there is an ‘All Events’ button that takes you to the All Events screen.
- Note that the filter will be set to only the camera you were viewing so the next time you go to the All Events View you will have to change the filter to view other cameras.
Also on the Camera Screen you can click the SD Card button to access the SD Card recording view.
- I only record events so I only see a 1 minute recording/green line.
- For continuous recording you will see a continuous green line.
- Navigate using Pinch-In and Pinch-Out to Zoom and Swipe to scroll left and right.
- Use the Calendar Icon to select a specific date.
- How far you can go back depends on the size of your SD Card.
