Thought Experiment: Shared Camera and rules

Okay, here’s the situation. A friend has shared a Cam Pan v2 with me. Apparently I am able to set up rules with this camera in the Wyze app. Here’s what I did:

I set up a rule so that if his camera detects motion, as an action, a Wyze plug under my account will turn on. The rule is saved and enabled.

Will this work?

There is a wishlist item already to allow better control of what a shared account can do. Badly needed…
