@carverofchoice first of all, thank you so much for your help. You have always been so very helpful to me throughout the years and so quick to respond. Whenever, I run into an issue, you’re the one I reach out to and I so appreciate you and all you do. I know you’re a volunteer and I appreciate you and don’t understand why others have to be so rude when you’re just trying to help.

Thank you for walking me through about how to submit a log. It not hard at all so I don’t understand why others have a problem with it when it can help get the issue fixed. As you requested, I submitted a log for each camera. This morning, all of mine were showing they were off, a total of 5, except for my doorbell one. Here are the log numbers. 2352184, 2352186, 2352187, 2352188 and 2352189.

Again, thank you for your time and helpfulness!

I was updating some apps on my iPad this morning and mistakenly fat fingered update all, including the WYZE app 13.3. As of now all 15 cameras still show on and are working normally.

You’re welcome. Thank you for the kind words. I enjoy helping where I can and it’s great to know people feel I help.

Thank you for caring, my friend. It is totally alright. I did not take any frustration or other comments said here as directed toward me or my attempts to help. I understand the perspective. I sincerely don’t mind disagreement or frustration either, as long as it is not using unproductive ad hominems or insults, etc. I feel like I have been treated respectfully and would encourage people to feel free to disagree with me or challenge my position when they feel it is warranted. I’m totally okay with it. :+1: People may also always choose not to follow my advice, and I won’t be offended. I’m also not always correct. I just have my boundaries of when I will escalate something and I also respect other people’s boundaries of what amount of effort they will do. There are usually enough others who will take the effort so we can help, so it’s no big deal at all.

Thanks.
I’ll pass this on to someone.
If anyone else with the problem wants to submit a log in the meantime, feel free to post it :+1: This could be useful for the devs since there are some people reporting that their cameras are working okay.

So just to clarify, I am going to plan to tell an employee that appears that V4 cameras are having problems with people using iOS, And it is several users to demonstrate. It is not an isolated incident or edge case, but it is not 100% since some people have been reporting that theirs are working fine. Still on iOS even after the update. Would anyone like to clarify if they are talking about problems with a different model besides the V4? And those of you who’s reported that the cameras are working, are you talking about all cameras including the V4?

Thanks.

I have V3 and use IOS and have issues

I’m having the problem on v4, v3 and floodlight v2. Every camera I have except my doorbell one.

I have five V3, one V3 Pro, five V4 and four WCO v1 and all cameras are still working correctly after I updated yesterday morning. I update to iOS 26.5 today and cams are still working just fine on iOS app 3.13.0 (18)

This issue has been corrected in the new beta 3.14.0 (12).

I am on iOS 26.5 and have - all on latest firmware - 14 V4 cams, 2 V3 cams and a Wyze door bell cam. All 16 cams and the door bell cam are now showing the turned off screen randomly now. Some will show it for a second and then go back online leaving just a few showing turned off. The weird part is if I swipe up or down to look at other cameras then go back to those that showed being powered off they will come back online. I’m assuming the swipe up or down is basically doing a reset of the cameras for lack of a better word.

I will start submitting logs as these show up again.

That’s great to hear. When do they think that Beta will turned into a final?

I don’t know exactly, but with a bug like that, it shouldn’t take long.

Me too. iOS 26.4.2

Mine are still showing this but I noticed on my time and date stamp, the time is still moving. So the camera is really still on and recording.

@carverofchoice have you heard any updates on this?

It sounds like the fix is already implemented in the latest beta app, so we’re just waiting for them to release it from testing to the public App store channel.

They historically only do 1 public app update per month unless there is a high impact issue requiring a hot fix. May is already more than halfway over, and the beta is already in testing, so I would expect the update to be released soon, but I cannot say exactly when that will be. Sometimes they only do 1 beta version then straight to public if all goes well, but sometimes they will do a beta version then a release candidate version, or multiple beta versions in rare cases. It can be hard to predict. I have not heard anything on when the public update should be expected, only that the beta seems to resolve it. So for now, if it’s urgent, anyone who doesn’t want to wait could sign up for the beta until the public app is released, then stop doing beta again. I’ve done that before with my secondary iPhone I use for testing. Otherwise the only other option is to wait for the public release. If I hear anything before someone else posts in here about, it, I’ll let you know.

Great! Thank you so much!

So still no released fix for this???

All 16 of mine were doing it infrequently but now it is more often than not that they are offline.

Rethinking where my money is being spent

Same problem. Happening randomly on my on camv3, campanv3, Wyze cam outdoor. Using iOS 26.5

Wooohoooo. It appears to be fixed - so far

Back at it again but now it is showing turned off on at least half of my 16 cameras. Before it was only 2 or 3.

Mine never got fixed. Hopefully they’ll roll out the update soon. At least they still are on and recording as my time stamp is moving, it’s just aggravating to see that error.
