I don’t know what’s wrong with the most current app version but the last few days I’ve noticed I’ll go to view my cameras and a lot of them will say “this device has been turned off”. I’ve done no such thing to turn them off so it’s gotta be something with the app that’s going it.
I think it’s just the latest iOS app that is causing this issue to occur. I have v2, v3, and v4 cams. I am using the latest Android app and all is well.
I have the same issue. Doing it all the time. I 100% haven’t turned any of them off. Must be an app bug
iOS when pressing any of the favorite cameras it displays this device has been turned off
Today when I opened the Wyze app on iOS, any favorite camera or favorite group displayed the message “This device has been turned off.” If I press the power button, the live feed connects and displays normally.
Is there any way to disable this behavior? This is the first time I’ve experienced this issue.

It would be helpful if everyone experiencing this could do a few things:
- Share the OS you’re using. I see that @sockofrog tagged this topic for android-and-ios, but if this issue is affecting only iOS users then we should probably update the tags to narrow the scope.
- Share the app version you’re using. This could help determine if (a) specific app version(s) is/are the root of the problem.
- Submit an app log after replicating the issue, possibly followed by creating a ticket to increase Wyze’s awareness of the issue. Please keep in mind that logs and tickets are not the same thing.
- Potentially search for the latest Wyze News topic to find the relevant app release—whatever corresponds to the app you’re using while experiencing the issue—and then post to that topic, including your problem description and generated Log ID from #3 above, in order to improve visibility to Wyze. Example search:

If everyone experiencing this issue in this topic all reports the same iOS version (for example), then one of the Moderators can move this discussion to the appropriate Wyze News topic for better visibility to Wyze.
