Am I the only one who seems to have noticed that Wyze products have gone from being “the darlings of the industry” to becoming low quality, often non-functional Chinese made pieces of crap? That, in and of itself, is less troubling than the FACT that Wyze “customer service,” although never exemplary, now absolutely stinks!
I have previously spent many thousands of dollars equipping 4 homes using the Wyze ecosystem. Not anymore, rabbit! They’re not getting another nickel out of me, especially after the latest debacle where three (yes, three!) of their Wyze Garbage Bolt Locks arrived defective. Their Bluetooth connections failed. Each one. No, it’s not user error. I’ve configured dozens of Wyze products. These are just crap!
Then, once you get past their crap chat bot “technology” (that doesn’t work for crap!) at their “support” site, and once you get a “customer service” representative on the line, they’re clueless They know absolutely nothing. Better to ask your cat for help.
Yep, Wyze has become a worthless company in my eyes, and I will not be giving them anymore business. I threw their piece of garbage lock into the trash, and I’m going back to Ring. At least when Ring equipment doesn’t work one can speak with someone with a brain. That appears to be lacking at Wyze.
