About once a month I am seeing huge spikes in the thermostat usage graph, just for one day. Where the days before and after only indicate 2-3 hours, and then I get a 15 hour day. It is no way related to the outside conditions or ANY other anomaly. Setpoints do not change day-to-day. There is no reason for any such huge deviations. Not only am I a mechanical engineer who designs HVAC systems for a living the past 20 years, my specialty is in controls. There is no reason for these spikes. Can anyone explain this, or is this just more wyze junk that eventually quits working?
I just saw this for the first time yesterday, and just made a post about it.
This is the first time I’ve seen any unusual usage like this. It’s showing 24hours of usage yesterday, which is quite literally impossible. Temp is set to 74 all year long. There would be no way the AC is running for 24hours…just impossible.
Really bizarre
