I called customer support and they claim once this change was made we are stuck with it…..wish I had known they were going to make this asinine change just as I had recently purchased 4 more cameras……..SO NOT HAPPY!!

Can you provide some detail on what you are experiencing? Cloud and sdcard playback is functioning just fine on my v3’s.
Maybe the change has not hit you yet, the entire view playback feature has been changed, You now have to hold your finger right on the video to see a 30 second playback and before I can see anything it disappears.
Are you doing continuance recording? If so, then I’ll never see it because I only do event recording. I will check my cams to see if there us a recording of extended length and try the playback to see what I get for results.
UPDATE: Found a 34 sec. video and it played the full video on cloud and sdcard versions.
