Tagging for playback on Wyze Camera 3

I’m sure this has been brought up before (possibly even a feature request) but why doesn’t the playback for continuous recording on the SD card have an option to tag where the motion is? How much harder would that be to implement? Instead I have to scrub the entire timeline to figure out where motion is. I get that maybe that is the yet another ‘feature’ of using Camplus but seems really like poor business practices to not allow that.

If you enable motion detection for the camera it records a thumbnail to the cloud without any subscriptions. You should be able to use that thumbnail to go to the recording on the SD Card.

That’s all well and good when you’re looking at the events but I’m talking about scrubbing the timeline to get an overall view of things that are tagged.

Yeah, I wish that was a feature as well…

Only other option is to configure the SD card for events only.

I switched all my cams to continuous because “events only” does not show the entire event. I had a car come down my street at approx. 2:30 AM and parked further down on the other side of the street. Even though they were in view of the cam they were not close enough to detect motion of what they did or when they departed . Since I switched to continuous I can go back and see the entire recording no matter how long it is. Just an Old Farts opinion. :upside_down_face:

Agree completely. But there are only so many ways to get to the event without CamPlus, CamPlus Lite or the thumbnails. I certainly haven’t found that scrolling through the video on the SD card to be very useful.
