Hey guys, I think it would be awesome to leverage this empty space on the Wyze app for extra “one touch” device controls without having to open the device to access those controls.. I figure that things like SD, Siren, Mute, etc. could be added here.
That’s an interesting thought. I can immediately imagine two potential problems:
- People who already bump the Siren control accidentally (especially those using Cams as baby monitors) would likely hate having that button there, and the Forum has seen many requests to remove this button or make it less accessible.
- The amount of space available for placing extra controls is likely constrained by the length of the device name and a given mobile device’s screen geometry.
I could see some utility in something like this, though, especially if the user was given a choice of which additional control(s) would appear on the device’s Favorites tile. If you don’t see anything within the Wishlist category that seems like an existing fit for this (I’m not aware of one), then you could consult How to Use the Wishlist and consider submitting the idea that way.

I bumped a siren in the scroll that’s there now this morning. 
Yeah, I think the Wishlist category already has more than one topic that discusses moving/removing the Siren control from its location on many Cams’ Live Stream screens. I don’t recall ever bumping that accidentally, but I feel for those who are parents or who have sensitive pets and have accidentally activated it.

I was thumbing thru the live view settings for a Pan Cam V3. Accidentally whacked it with as I scrolled back. First time too. Need a softer touch I guess. LOL
